What is Chronic Kidney Disease?
Chronic Kidney Disease or Chronic Renal Disease is a severe disease that occurs because of an unhealthy diet and improper lifestyle. Healthy kidneys help to remove waste materials, toxins, and extra fluid from the body. The kidneys also balance the salts and minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, sodium, and potassium that circulate in the blood.
The kidneys make hormones that help control blood pressure, make red blood cells, and keep your bones strong. But as it gets damaged, it stops excreting these materials and stops working the way it should. When Chronic Kidney Disease reaches its advanced stage, then dangerous fluid levels, electrolytes, and wastes material can build up in your body. The symptoms of kidney disease may appear after a long time. It doesn’t happen overnight.
As a person gets tested for kidneys and found kidneys are damaged, allopathy doctors suggest them for dialysis or kidney transplant. But in Ayurveda kidney treatment, there is no option of these both. We can cure kidneys and recover their functioning power because Ayurveda has enough potential to cure any disease.
Ayurveda is perceived as a cure with home remedies, but it is much more than just herbal remedies. Ayurveda is a wholesome course of medicine that helps in maintaining the healthy functioning of bodies and organs.

High Blood Pressure or Hypertension
High blood pressure damages the blood vessels in the kidneys, so they don’t work as well. If the blood vessels in the kidneys are damaged, your kidneys may not work as well to remove the waste material and extra fluid from the body. Extra fluid in the blood vessels may raise blood pressure.
The filtration membrane of the kidney gets damaged because of having too much glucose in the blood. Over time, kidneys can become worsen at filtering wastes and extra fluid from your blood.

Side-Effects of chemically-made medicines
Quick reliever medicines are fully made up of chemicals. They are highly effective and strong. As they start reacting, a chemical discharge happens that destroys the organs of the body like the liver, heart, and kidney the most.
Smoking and alcohol
Alcohol affects the kidneys as fast as anything doesn’t, which can not cure over time. Too much alcohol can cause blood pressure. Smoking affects the lungs the most.
Obesity can directly affect your kidneys, too, because extra weight can pressure the kidneys to work more than before and filter wastes more and more. Eventually, this pressure can increase the risk for Chronic Kidney Disease.

Healthy kidneys help to remove all the toxins and wastes from the body, and damaged kidneys can’t filter the uric acid and other wastes the way they should. The extra buildup of uric acid in the body can cause gout.
The kidneys also help to make blood. They make erythropoietin (EPO) to build red blood cells. When the kidneys stop working, the ability to make red blood cells affects. Patients may have anemia because of low levels of iron, vitamin B12, or folic acid. Patients should include all of these in their diet.
When the kidney gets damaged, too much acid fills in the body that the kidneys can’t filter out. It disturbs the pH level of the blood, which can worsen the kidneys more than before.
Damaged kidney can’t remove the waste and toxins from the body means it stops working properly. It can cause low calcium and high phosphorus levels (hyperphosphatemia) in the body that may weak bones.
Organs of the body are connected to each other. If one gets damaged, others begin affecting in a different way. Damaged kidneys can affect the heart and can cause a heart attack.
High potassium levels affect the kidney most because it directly affects the functioning system of kidneys. A sudden rise in potassium levels can fail kidneys.
